1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Elixir Attendance Android app and this website (the “service”), provided by Elixir Infotech. By registering an organization or using the service you agree to them on behalf of your organization. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Accounts and administrators
- An organization registers with an administrator email address, which must be verified before the organization is created.
- The administrator is responsible for keeping the password secure and for everything done with the account, including by any attendance-only user the administrator creates.
- Information provided at registration must be accurate and kept up to date.
3. Employee data and consent
The organization decides whom to register and which features to use. It is responsible for having a lawful basis for processing its employees' information, including face data and location; for informing employees and obtaining consent where required; and for the accuracy of attendance decisions made using the service. The Privacy Policy describes how the service handles that information.
4. Acceptable use
- Use the service only to record and manage attendance for your own organization's workforce.
- Do not register people without the authority to do so, or use the service to track people outside attendance.
- Do not attempt to access another organization's data, interfere with the service, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows.
- Do not use the service for anything unlawful.
5. Attendance records
The service calculates attendance from punches, shifts and work calendars. Face recognition, liveness checks and location are aids and are not infallible. Administrators should review records, and can correct and lock them. The organization remains responsible for payroll and employment decisions.
6. Plans, trial and billing
The service is currently offered free of charge during early access. Paid plans and a one-month free trial are planned; the plans shown on the Pricing page are proposed and not yet on sale. When paid plans launch, their prices, billing, renewal and cancellation terms will be shown before purchase and these terms will be updated.
7. Your data
Your organization's data belongs to your organization. We process it only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. Face data is stored on the phone where it was registered and in any backup file you export; you are responsible for keeping phones and backup files that hold your data secure.
8. Cancellation and account deletion
You can stop using the service at any time. The administrator can request deletion of the organization's account in the app or on the Account Deletion page. Deletion takes effect 30 days after the request, and the request can be cancelled until then. After permanent deletion, the data cannot be recovered.
9. Service availability
Attendance recording works offline on the phone. Online features, such as sign-in, cloud sync, restore and account deletion, depend on internet access and on Google Firebase. We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features.

11. Intellectual property
The app, website, logo and content are owned by Elixir Infotech or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your organization's attendance while you comply with these terms.
12. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
